Strawberry Basil Biscuits

Recipe by Kailee Walters for Wyman’s
  • 1 + 1/2 cup (180g) whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup (56g) almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup (70g) Wyman’s frozen Strawberries
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp fresh chopped basil
Preheat the oven to 375F. In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together until evenly combined. In a separate bowl, whisk the two eggs together with the chopped basil. Blend the strawberries, olive oil, and water until a smooth consistency. Add the blender mixture to the whisked eggs and mix until fully incorporated. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet. Evenly portion out 10 biscuits and place them on a greased or lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Recommended to be served warm with butter or with a dollop of plain yogurt.
Yields 10 biscuits (50g each)
Bake at 375F for 10-12 minutes
